By this time James and Natalie had returned to their home in Nelson Bay from Tindal NT. We flew down to visit for the week. We then hired a car and visited Cathy and Max in Lithgow and saw first hand the devastation of the summer bushfires. Visited Katoomba for a couple of days were it poured with rain.
The rest of February we stayed with Kym’s mum and got involved with her garden, learning italian, bonfires, watching murder mysteries in the afternoon. During this time we saw on TV an inkling of what the covid pandemic may lead to as China were constructing massive hospitals. We waited to see how it would pan out.
